Weightloss Challenge
My New Years Resolution for 2012 is probably the same as alot of people:
- Lose Weight
- To live more healthy
These two things have been on my New Years Resolution list for the last five years I’d say…..lol….but 2012 is going to be different….2012 is going to be my year of change…..YOU CAN DO IT WITH ME….
My birthday is the 10th of January so I have decided to start my new plan to skinnyness and healthiness on the 11th Jan 2012. WHO’S WITH ME?????
I will meet you back here – 11th Jan 2012 with our weight and measurements…….in the mean time lets get into the right mindset and share different ways and strategies of lose weight….
I know that the best plan to get your body at it’s maximum burning fat mode is to detox before you start any diet and exercise plan. The problem with this is that most detox programmes are very very strict. I have only tried one in the past and that’s “the lemonade detox” which consists of a sea salt or laxative tea first thing in the morning and last thing at night. During the day you can have as much of the lemonade as you want. The lemonade drink is a concoction of Lemon Juice, water, real maple syrup and cayenne pepper (I put a decaffeinated herbal tea bag in mine as well). I find the lemonade more appealing hot with a tea bag. I was able to last on this detox programme for 3 days and I will say that my body felt better and that when I saw how much my body was expelling it was an incentive to carry on…….I think this time I might buy a programme and see how that goes…….ARE YOU GOING TO DETOX? WHAT PROGRAMME ARE YOU LOOKING INTO?
I have spoken to my friend about losing weight and she swears by an eating plan that will have you having a detox in the first three days by drinking alot of water and eating nothing but protein (reminds me of the atkins diet) and then eating six times a day fuelling your metabolism – she also said something about 10,000 steps a day….I will find out more tomorrow and post about it…..sorry don’t know what its called yet….SEE YOU TOMORROW
Ok so it’s called Body Trim and it promotes 6 meals a day and 10,000 steps a day. Its about boosting your metabolic rate to turn your body into a fatburning machine. Its a low carb, high fibre program which actually makes alot of sense to me and I’m gonna give it a go. WATCH THIS SPACE
I have tried body trim and my Mum is doing it right now – I think it works well if you like meat a lot.. I struggled big time with the meat only days (can’t remember terminology) but otherwise was pretty good…
