Eating 6 times a day is soooooo great especially after the first 3 days.  My dilema at the moment is remembering the 3 hour rule.  The 3 hour rule on The Body Trim Diet is the frequency in which to eat.  They say to eat every 3 hours or if you want you can eat up to every hour by eating protein snacks inbetween your meals.

EXAMPLE GUIDE:
8.00 Breakfast Meal
9.00 Protein Snack
10.00 Protein Snack
11.00 Protein Snack
12.00 Lunch Meal

11.00 Protein Snack
2.00  Lunch Meal
5.00  Protein Snack
8.00  Dinner

I think the 3 hour rule is crucial to your weight loss success as it’s feeding your metabolism and getting it into fat burning mode so that your body is always burning fat rather than storing it.  I have messed up where I’ve had a meal and have forgotten to have a snack and before you know it, its been 4 hours and the other problem I have is remembering to have a snack after dinner.  If I’m not hungry I easily forget to have my protein snack but it’s so important not to forget to have your protein before you go to bed because this will keep your body burning fat while you sleep.  I wonder how much of a hindrance this has had (if any) to my weight loss.  I guess only the results could answer that question.  Can’t wait for weigh in day on Wednesday!

 

THE MENU FOR TODAY

8.00 – half hour walk
8.50 – scrambled egg on toast with tomato
10.30 – skinless chicken thigh
1.30 – beef stew with brocolli, mushroom, onion and tomato
4.30 – 1 hard boiled egg
7.00 – beef stir fry
9.00 – hard boiled egg
